September 22, 2012 - Kaylyn's 3rd Volleball Game
September 15, 2012, Kaylyn's team had their second volleyball game (really their 2nd & 3rd since they had a double header). They lost both sets of games, but you could see some of the kids starting to have potential. On September 22nd, they had their 3rd day of games (their 4th & 5th game). They lost their first set of games, but were definitely showing improvement and the 2nd set of games they won both matches! It was so exciting to finally see my baby's team win. They needed to know what it felt like to win so they can start building confidence to play better. We did not bring the camera for either day's worth of games, but we did get video on the 15th. Will post when I get uploaded.

September 8, 2012 - Kaylyn's 1st Volleyball Game
Jason and I had a Dodgeball Tournament today for our Connect1NG at work. We won one game, but lost the other two. Afterwards we scrimmaged on volleyball and we did really well. I'm going to be very sore tomorrow! Kaylyn had her first volleyball game of the season later on that day. She did pretty well. She got the ball over for every serve. She needs to work on her setting skills, but we can practice that. She seemed to have fun! Their first set they only lost 25 to 20, but the second set they lost 25 to 9. They've only been practicing for two weeks, so not too much was expected.

September 3, 2012 - Camping at Bahia Honda - Leaving
The third day, we packed up in the morning after breakfast and headed out. But, before we headed out, I went around the cove and took some shots of the fish in the water in front of our campsite. There was a school of feeder fish, so a couple of barracudas came out to feed. That was neat!

September 2, 2012 - Camping at Bahia Honda - Day 2
The next day we went to the Atlantic side to swim and then later we walked to the bridge to watch the sunset from the bridge. Again, Jason and I took turns with Ashlyn. Jason even took her into their store and got her ice cream. Felt kind of bad she didn't get to swim, especially since she loves swimming so much. It was a beautiful, sunny day and we all got kind of burnt, especially Kaylyn! Bought some aloe and put it in the cooler, so after our showers, I put it on her burn to ease it. We took the nature trail walk that lead out to the beach further down and then we kept walking further along the beach. It got really nice the further we went and we found a lot of empty conch shells and some other cool things. The kids even saw an iguana in a tree. When we went to the bridge later that evening, we saw a school of feeder fish that made the water look like it was muddy in the area where they were. We saw what we thought to possibly be reef sharks going after them and later saw a huge sting ray in the water below. Kind of neat!
