Today was the big 6th grade field trip to Epcot. I drove four kids and another parent. The teacher wanted to make sure that we did a caravan so that we all stuck together. That was fun... The day was pretty fun, but the kids had to do a scavenger hunt the entire time, so we didn't get to ride some of the rides due to the time constraints. That's alright though...the kids had fun! It made me miss Disney though and I can't wait to get passes again!

May 16, 2014 - 2nd and 4th Grade Award Ceremony
I had to miss this award ceremony as well since I was driving/chaperoning 6th graders at Epcot. Ashlyn received the character award Joyfulness and Jesse received Boldness (shocker again, I know). Mrs. Nix, the 4th grade teacher, had everyone in tears talking about how Ashlyn puts her whole heart into singing and dancing during worship. From what I heard, it was really sweet!

May 15, 2014 - 6th Grade Award Ceremony
Kaylyn's class had their 6th grade award ceremony today because tomorrow they are going on a field trip to Epcot. Kaylyn won the character award for Boldness and Truthfulness (shocker). Jason went to the award ceremony since I am taking the entire next day off work to chaperone/drive 6th graders to Epcot.

April 17, 2014 - 4th-6th Grade Soccer Party
So, the soccer season ended. The kids had a lot of fun playing soccer and Kaylyn even seemed to enjoy it more this year. She did really well and even ended up scoring a goal near the end of the season. She was a good striker!
April 17, 2014 - 2nd-3rd Grade Field Trip to LegoLand
The 2nd and 3rd grade classes at CCS went to LegoLand for their big field trip this year. Jason drove and chaperoned some of the kids. The kids seemed to have a lot of fun!
