December 31, 2013 - New Year's Eve

Since my cousin John was in town, we gathered at Rodes Park and had a meal.  It was yummy!  We brought salad and dad brought so much other food!  While the kids were playing tag, Kaylyn decided to take off after someone and turned to run, but instead of running after someone, she ran smack dab into a pole and got a really nice goose egg on her forehead.  We went home and iced it for awhile and the swelling went down some, but even four weeks later (1/28/14), she still has a small lump on her forehead.

December 21, 2013 - Christmas Extravaganza

We went to the Christmas Extravaganza again this year.  It was better this year since there were more things to do.  It was all free still which was amazing!  They had so many great volunteers and businesses that helped out.  They had bounce houses, rock climbing, the bomb squad, the fire department, free horse rides, animals, free hot dogs and drinks, free cotton candy, free snow cones, free popcorn, free face painting, free balloon animals and free raffles.  They also did a lot of games by the stage with the kids and gave away lots of stuffed animals and DVDs (I think we got 7 or 8 DVDs).  The kids had such a great time and we were there for four hours.
