December 20, 2013 - Visit with Santa

We finally got had time to go see Santa!  We got the kids all dressed up and got there a couple minutes before 5:00 pm.  They had shut the line down so that Santa could have a break.  Then they told us it was an hour break.  We were going to eat dinner at home and the kids were starving.  We stuck with it though and went to the nearby pet store and music store.  We started heading back to Santa's line at 5:40 and they told us he wouldn't be back until 6:30.  Ugh!  We had already waited as long as we did, we couldn't give up now (even though Jason was not a happy camper about this).  We came back to the line at 6:00 and there were already three families at the head of the line and shortly after there were about ten families behind us.  It was worth the wait though and we're glad the kids got to see Santa since this is a family tradition.

November 25, 2012 - Visit with Santa & Christmas Tree

Yep, it's that time of year again!  We visited Santa in the mall today and ate lunch with Brittany (who is Santa's helper this year).  Then we went home and decorated the Christmas tree.  Jason started hanging the Christmas lights outside, but still has a long way to go, so I will wait to post pictures of the outside once he is done.

Then on Tuesday December 7th, the girls had their Christmas program for school. Each grade did two songs. 1st grade sang two songs and 3rd grade played one song on the recorder and sang another. They were so cute. I will post video of each of them when we finally get our cable to connect the camera to our computer. Wai-po & Wai-gong came and got to enjoy the show. The girls were really happy they could come. Ashlyn's making some pretty interesting face expressions in her picture!
