Got over 24,000 steps this day! We walked over to the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum and then walked over to the U.S. Capital. It snow flurried all morning, so the girls got to walk in snow, but it would melt as soon as it hit the ground. It cleared up by the afternoon. On the way back to the hotel, we saw China Town in the middle of D.C. We walked a little ways into it and stopped at a Chinese store. Ashlyn bought an ornamental fold up mirror that she started carrying everywhere with her.

The next day we walked around downtown D.C. and saw the White House, the Washington Monument which is still under construction from the earthquake, the Lincoln Memorial, the World War II Memorial, the Vietnam Memorial, the Smithsonian American History Museum, and the Smithsonian Natural History Museum. I got over 25,000 steps this day.
