Manicures & Pedicures on Saturday April 28th

My sister Jessica was marrying Adam on Sunday April 29th, so we went down to the Avenues and got manicures and pedicures done.  My other sister Kara was in the wedding with me and Sheila was the person marrying my sister Jessica.  I took the girls along too!  It was funny because Jinkie and Abigail, Ashlyn's classmate, were there.  After the wedding on Sunday, I had Jason take a couple of pictures of me since this would be the last time for a long time that I'd have make-up on and my hair done up :-)

GEMS Theme Day on Friday April 27th

The kids had their final GEMS class for the year and it was all about that year's theme.  They started at the children's ministry building and passed the torch.  Then we all walked across the street to the old Rodes Park where the games were setup.  They did olympic style games (balance beam, rowing, archery, swimming, and discus throw).  Jason and I were in charge of the rowing.  It was fun!  Afterwards, we had a pot luck meal with lots of food and desserts.  The girls had a blast!
