May 16, 2014 - 6th Grade Field Trip to Epcot

Today was the big 6th grade field trip to Epcot.  I drove four kids and another parent.  The teacher wanted to make sure that we did a caravan so that we all stuck together.  That was fun...  The day was pretty fun, but the kids had to do a scavenger hunt the entire time, so we didn't get to ride some of the rides due to the time constraints.  That's alright though...the kids had fun!  It made me miss Disney though and I can't wait to get passes again!

July 7th - Day 7 at Epcot

Today was the last day we spent with the Ringwald family.  We headed back over to Epcot to finish up Future Showcase and the World Showcases.  We left a little early today and headed back to the hotel to grab dinner.  We did some sparklers and got in trouble with security...oops.  Apparently sparklers are considered fireworks, and fireworks are not permitted on Disney property (ironic).  The kids at least got to do two each.  Then the girls watched Lion King on the big screen next to the pool, while the boys went swimming.  We all said our goodbyes which was very sad!  We will miss the Ringwald family again, but hopefully we will get to come together again soon.  Day 8, we slept in, packed up and headed to Downtown Disney.  We spent a couple of hours and ate lunch at Disney Quest and then did a little shopping in Downtown Disney shops.  Then we headed home to do our grocery shopping and unpacking since the next day we would be heading back to work...boo!  This was a very great vacation spent with a wonderful, blessed family.

July 1st - Day 1 at All Star Movies Resort & Epcot

We got to the hotel and walked around awhile to get the layout of the hotel grounds.  We waited for the Ringwald family to get to the hotel and check-in and then we all ate lunch at the hotel.  Then we headed over to Epcot for the afternoon/evening.  We rode a few things in the Future World and then rode the Mexican boat ride and the Norway boat ride.  We ate dinner in Mexico and caught the Illuminations Light Show on the water right after dinner.  It was pretty neat.
