We went on the Blue Ridge train today and took a train ride to where you can "Walk the Line" between McCaysville, Georgia and Copperhill, Tennessee. When we got there, we at some more BBQ that wasn't that great (All Aboard BBQ). Then we let the girls do some gem mining in one of the stores. They had fun doing this. They each had a lot of pretty stones and an arrowhead.
The train only took us a little way back and dropped us off to go tubing at Rolling Thunder. They took us on a bus about a mile up river and dropped us off. We floated down the Ocoee River where there were very small rapids along the way. It was lots of fun! Ashlyn fell in a few times. It scared her the first time, but the water was so shallow, just cold. Once we got back to Rolling Thunder, they drove us back to the train station which was in downtown Blue Ridge. We got some ice cream at a store called Three Sisters.
When we got back to the cabin, it had rained with the sun out some. There was a huge rainbow looking out the back of the cabin. It was beautiful!
