Science Fair

Well, this year was the first year one of our children had to participate in the Science Fair! Personally, I was hoping that she placed, but not for 1st (I didn't want to have to go to Districts). Well, we got the phone call that we were highly encouraged to attend the Awards ceremony, so we knew she placed, but didn't know which place. We pretended like we didn't know anything so Kaylyn would be excited when her name got called. For Envirnomental, the 3rd place winner got called...not Kaylyn, the 2nd place winner got called...not Kaylyn, the 1st place winner got called...and yes, it's Kaylyn. She was absolutely glowing for the rest of the night...it was very sweet.
